About Rarity Bioscience

Rarity Bioscience was founded in 2021 following a breakthrough discovery by Dr. Lei Chen, PhD in molecular biology and a member of Professor Ulf Landegren’s team at the Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology at Uppsala University.

Our proprietary superRCA® technology delivers exceptional sensitivity for detecting low‑frequency mutations, enabling more accurate measurable residual disease assessment and deeper insights into disease biology. Because superRCA® is read using standard flow cytometry, equipment already available in many laboratories, the technology is both powerful and readily accessible
